Your career center can initiate the ERC process in two easy steps

Your career center can offer solutions that will advance student and alumni careers at no cost to you or those utilizing this service. Students and alumni will engage references and create a report with recommendations that will get the recruiter’s attention.

Step 1:

When logged into your account, click “Create Request” and enter the student’s name, email address and import brief instructions in the body of the email. If you wish to reach a number of students and alumni, bulk emails can be generated in one step after uploading email addresses from a spreadsheet. The email that is sent will include instructions for the student to begin the process and engage references.

After receiving the email, students and alumni will create an account and engage references. The E-Reference Check report created will be available in their account and can be used for employment purposes in the future. The students and alumni can add additional references as they gain experience.

Step 2:

Only one additional action is required after emails to initiate the process are generated. To insure that an unauthorized individual does not engage the process, the career center must click to “Approve” after the students and alumni complete the reference entry process.

No further action is required by your career center but you will have the ability to monitor the progress of the first student and alumni E-Reference Check from your careerandtalenthub account. The first E-Reference Check report will be available in your account and can be reviewed with a student or forwarded to a potential employer.
